NWRESD Foundation Grant Application 2019 |
The NWRESD Foundation awards grants that enhance teaching and learning for under served children and those with disabilities, birth to age 21, in public school programs in Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook, and Washington counties, Oregon. Award amounts are between $100 and $3,000.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FILLING OUT THE APPLICATION BELOW.

1.) The online platform does not allow you to print your application. We recommend that you first type your responses into a Word document that you save, and then copy and paste the text into the online application below.
2.) You can download a sample application to review prior to entering your proposal online at www.nwresdfoundation.org > Grants.
3.) Your narrative for question #8 on the actual application must be concise and to the point. The Committee reads hundreds of applications and appreciates brevity. Three, medium-size paragraphs is perfect!
4.) Spell out acronyms and avoid jargon.
5.) Request must align with the Foundation's funding categories: Birth to 5 Special Education; Early Learning/Kindergarten Readiness; School‐age Special including alternative, at-risk, and behavioral programs through age 21; English Language Learners; and Migrant Education.
6.) Once you've completed the application and clicked on the 'Submit' button, you'll be redirected to a thank you page with a final 'Submit' button to exit the survey.
7.) If you are uncertain whether or not your application was submitted, please email the Foundation Director.
8.) Awards will be announced Friday, November 22, 2019, via email, Facebook, Twitter, and a press release.
Component District Awards: Checks and a copy of award letters will be mailed to your school district's Fiscal Office the week of December 9, 2019. You will access grant funds via the fiscal process set up by your school district.
ESD Staff Awards: Checks and a copy of award letters will be given to the ESD’s Fiscal Department the week of December 9, 2019, and you will access funds via the ESD’s normal fiscal process - there will be no exceptions. If you have questions about that process please speak with your supervisor.
