Member Only Intranet Policy
Scope:
These guidelines apply to the Fort McMurray #468 First Nation’s public website and Member Only Intranet Portal.
Purpose:
Fort McMurray 468 First Nation has introduced the Member Only Intranet Portal to support transparency and allow members access to information that is considered confidential.
It is also a place for Members to connect with each other, build a sense of community, and promote culture.
These Terms govern your use of the Member Only Intranet. This service is provided to you by Fort McMurray #468 First Nation.
Rules for Usage:
a) Must be a member of the Fort McMurray #468 First Nation.
b) Never engage in name-calling or personal attacks or any other demeaning behaviour either directly or indirectly and always be respectful;
c) Fort McMurray 468 First Nation is an ever-growing community, and the opinions and attitudes of our members affect our public reputation, industry partners, business partners, future partnerships. We rely on these funds for member programs, services and PCDs that are generated by such partnerships.
External Sharing of Information:
a) Do not share or post on any social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, reddit, etc.) anything regarding business(s) carried on by Fort McMurray 468 First Nation, or any Fort McMurray 468 First Nation business entity or any entity which is owned or controlled by Fort McMurray 468 First Nation.
b) Including but not limited to; financial information, Human Resources information, legal information, or anything else that is of a personal or confidential nature.
Consequences for Breach of the Policy:
a) Members who breach this policy are subject to immediate removal from the Member Only Intranet.
b) In every case, an assessment will be made using the following factors and considerations;
c) the seriousness of the breach;
d) the degree of harm to FMFN468, its businesses, or employees;
e) the degree of insight demonstrated by the member into their actions;
