About the programme

Kenyan business owners are invited to apply for AMI's Grow Your Business programme, offered for free as part of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) research study.

Question Title

1. This programme is designed for businesses that meet the following criteria:
a) Generated between Kes. 1,000,000 to Kes. 50,000,000 in total annual revenue in your last financial year
b) Has been in operation for more than 1 year
c) Have 3 or more full-time employees (businesses with 2 employees may be accepted)
d) Have internet connectivity
e) Business owner involved full-time in the business (if part-time, business owner must spend more than 2 hours per day on the business)

Question Title

2. The Grow Your Business Programme is offered for FREE as part of a research study. I understand that my business will be randomly allocated to one of two research groups:
i) Treatment group-go through a business learning experience and be equipped with practical and effective tools and training on business growth
OR
ii) Control group -skip the learning experience and become eligible for a one-year free membership to AMI’s prestigious Growth Network community

Question Title

3. As part of this application process, AMI will collect data that you choose to share with us. Our Privacy Policy explains how AMI and our partners use and handle the data that you share with us - you can review this here. Please know that throughout the programme, we follow a rigorous process to make sure that we protect and store your data securely. Your data will NOT be shared with any third party (such as banks or any regulators)
