Supporting managers to embed flexible working in health and care

We are running a series of facilitated online group discussions on the topic of flexible working in collaboration with the University of Liverpool.

We are looking for health and care professionals in clinical roles with line management responsibilities to join these discussions, which will focus on how to better support managers to embed flexible working within health and care.

The discussion will draw on action learning principles and last 1-2 hours dependent upon the number of people (up to a maximum of 6). You will be invited to share a challenge that you are facing in relation to flexible working in your role as a line manager. Together, we will explore new ways of thinking, develop ideas and decide on an action to take forward. You will also be invited to test out some resources to support flexible working based on research by the University of Liverpool.

3-4 weeks after the group session, you will be invited to take part in a short conversation with the facilitator to reflect on any actions you have taken and provide feedback on your experience of testing out the flexible working resources.
