Provide microgrants to individual early childhood schools to support innovative experimentation in the areas of staff recruitment, staff retention, staff mentorship or family engagement.
Encourage individual schools, or in partnership with another school, to develop a year-long initiative in one of the following areas: recruitment, retention, mentorship, or family engagement.
Foster a culture of experimentation and collaborative shared learning.
To reach these goals, Jewish LearningWorks will:
Offer grants, determine eligibility based on a set of criteria*, and then create an opportunity for recipients to report on and share their success and learning.
Work in partnership with each school to support the schools as needed in preparing an application that meets the goals of this grant.
Conduct a mid-year check in with each grant recipient.
Celebrate the work of grant recipients in a public gathering.
