Introduction

The Habari Project seeks to better understand the taboos, practices and support in place to those experiencing the menopause.
To uncover the unmet needs of people living with the menopause the Habari Project seeks to look beyond just those who have been diagnosed or self-identify as experiencing the menopause. We will be seeking to better understand, what, if any, cultural, systemic and personal factors have shaped experiences and to what extent.
Please note, while we use the word woman, this is not meant to exclude people with other gender identities. We recognise that not all people who experience menopause identify as women.
Confidentiality is important to us and as such, we have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that we maintain any confidential information shared. With the exception of the 1-2-1 interview consideration at the end, this is the only time we have asked for your permission to share information that is personal. It is optional and therefore you do not have to share or complete that section.
The survey will take about 14 minutes and we hope you will be able to assist, as the outcome will inform practices in supporting those wit menopausal symptoms and/or going through the process.
Best regards and look forward to receiving your response.
