Skill level 5 AQF 1 qualification (Certificate 1) and short period of on the job training

Skill level 4 (where payroll currently sits) an AQF 2 or 3 qualification (Certificate II or III) and one year of experience

Skill level 3 an AQF 3 or 4 qualification (Certificate III and Certificate IV) and three years’ experience

Skill level 2, an AQF 5 and 6 qualifications (associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma) with three years’ experience

Skill level 1, an AQF 7 or higher qualification (Bachelor’s degree or higher) and 5 years’ experience
