Exeter House School Expansion Consultation

Consultation Information

Brunel Academies Trust, in response to a request from Wiltshire Council, proposes to expand Exeter House School in Salisbury, Wiltshire bringing the schools official Pupil Admission number (PAN) to 300 through the opening of a satellite provision.

This proposal has been developed in response to the increased demand for special educational needs provision in the Salisbury area and the on-going success of Exeter House School.
Should the expansion of Exeter House be agreed, Brunel Academies Trust, Wiltshire Council, and the school will work together to ensure that all admissions are handled effectively and efficiently.

As the main Exeter House School building is at capacity, the expansion of the Exeter House provision will be located at a satellite provision at The Wellington Academy campus in Ludgershall. This building has been obtained due to the collaboration of the Local Authority in partnership with The Ascend Trust which Wellington Academy is part of.

This satellite site will replicate the main school provision and will form an extension of the main Exeter House School. Although located geographically apart, it is important to emphasize that it is part of the main school.

The proposed expansion to Exeter House would be planned to start in April 2025.

Through this process we will consult with local primary, secondary, and special schools, and the Local Authority.

This survey will run from Thursday, 9th January until Thursday, 30th January 2025
