Expression of Interest Lyneham Armed Forces Brew and Banter Carer Café

We are seeking your views on opening a monthly group for Armed Forces Community

Carer Support Wiltshire are a proactive and forward-thinking charity, and we are passionate about supporting unpaid carers and bringing them together in comfortable, safe environments.

The term 'unpaid carer' refers to anyone, who unpaid looks after a loved one, a friend or a neighbour, who could not manage without their help.

We are seeking your views on opening a monthly cafe for unpaid carers from within the Armed Forces Community. This group would be held in the MOD Lyneham Community Centre and led by a trained volunteer, who can offer advice and support over a cuppa and a piece of cake.

Our carer cafés operate across the County and are hugely popular, offering carers a break from caring responsibilities, a chance to make new friends and be socially active. The carer cafes are free to attend with no need to book; you can just drop in and there will be a friendly face waiting for welcome you.

This café is for YOU, so your views really count and will enable us to offer a carer café that is based primarily on your ideas. There are no wrong or right answers, so please answer honestly, so we can ensure this café is fit for purpose and meets your needs.
