Purpose: Clinicians and staff serving American Indian and Alaska Native people are invited to participate in the Ending the Syndemic-Opioid Use Disorder ECHO programs. The program provides the rationale, program design, and tools that can be used by healthcare clinicians, staff and tribal decision makers to develop and enhance programs to address the opioid crisis. The training will provide an overview and present implementation options, and where requested, assist with implementation. The training is not only informational—technical and other support needed to put policy and practice into place is available and encouraged. The program will offer a free, day long training with subsequent telehealth clinics. CE will be provided.

Who should attend: Tribal leaders, decision-makers, administration, physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurses, behavioral health specialists, nurses, chemical dependency counselors, peer support specialists, family services staff, social services staff, medical assistants, community health representatives, tribal community health providers or others interested in learning new skills to effectively address the crisis.
