The following survey is going to show you images of possible tree options along the East San Fernando Valley Light Rail Project Corridor.
For each segment of the project along Van Nuys Blvd, you will be shown a different combination of tree options, with a different number of choices to make. Because of this, we will be asking you to pick your favorite tree on certain questions, while others will ask you to pick your top 2 or top 3. The list of tree options that you will be presented have been analyzed by the City of Los Angeles' Urban Forestry Division to narrow down to options that physically fit the environment where they will be planted, optimize sustainability, and enhance the aesthetics of the corridor.
The selected trees will be added to the existing tree landscape along the corridor. Existing trees will remain in place.
