The MPRB is currently completing a final design for Elliot Park, using the high-level vision outlined in the 2017-approved Downtown Service Area Master Plan. The project scope includes funding for playground improvements and funding to support additional improvements on the east side of the park.
Since Winter 2023, MPRB staff have been in conversations with community partners, stakeholders, and community members about their vision about safety and activation for the east side of the park. Here are three designs based on community feedback and analysis of other amenities offered in close proximity - we want to hear from you about what you like or don't like about these options!
