General Description of Marketing Ambassador and Intern Role:
EHS Marketing Ambassador-Interns represent and promote Educational Housing Services (“EHS”) in a positive manner on EHS’s social media networks as well as in their personal social media networks and in-person within the EHS community. The position will work directly with the marketing department on social media (with a particular focus on Tik Tok), content creation, and brand awareness initiatives, and engages EHS residents in different marketing campaigns. They will provide credible, trustworthy promotion and visibility to EHS (online and off-line).
The intern must be a full-time student at a college or university and must live in the housing provided by EHS in NYC.
Please note: Only candidates who have experience creating TikTok content for a third party such as a company, organization, school association, etc., will be considered.
Type: This internship will be a hybrid internship experience, with both virtual and in-person experiences taking place in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Hours are primarily worked in the evenings and on weekends.
Internship Dates: May 22, 2025- August 10, 2025 (12.5 weeks)
Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per week. Hours are primarily worked in the evenings and on weekends.
Compensation: $16 per hour, free housing in NYC provided by Educational Housing Services during the Summer 2025 semester, and two Unlimited Ride MetroCards (or similar) to help cover transportation costs

Ideal Qualifications:
- A current full-time student at an accredited college or university
- Experience creating content for the main social channels of a third party (ex: school association, company, organization, etc) including Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube with a particular focus on TikTok and its on-platform editing tools
- Familiarity with video editing tools, such as (but not limited to) CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable talking and collaborating with other residents in-person and being on-camera
- Creative thinker; willingness to learn new marketing methodologies and software
- Accountable, organized, and communicative team member who can excel while working independently
