The Experiences of Parent Carers of Children and Young People with SEND in Worcestershire
Healthwatch Worcestershire finds out what people think about health and care services. We use this information to tell those who run the services how they can be improved.
We really want to hear from parent carers of children and young people under 25 with special education needs and disability (SEND) in Worcestershire.
The information you provide is confidential.
We will produce a publicly available report of our findings. Although we may use anonymised quotes in our report, we will not share anything that would identify you as a contributor.
A message from our Director, Debbie Lamont:
“Following on from regular feedback we receive from parent/carers about EHCPs, I have decided to launch a survey to obtain honest feedback from you as service users.
I cannot express how much I appreciate every parent/carer that has taken time to feedback previously, and I realise that this survey will take up more of your valuable time. The survey consists over 40 questions and in recognition of the time it will take to complete, we are running a prize draw with two prizes, an iPad 10 and a £100 Amazon voucher, just in time for Christmas.
Completing the survey will enable you to feedback on important issues directly to decision makers and it really can help make a difference.
Within the survey, there are free format text boxes that enable you to expand on answers if you so wish. There is also a save function within the online form so you can take a break and return to your place easily.
Due to system constraints, it will only be possible to complete the survey once per device (phone, tablet, PC). If you would like to complete the survey more than once (e.g. for a second child) please use a different device.
