Energy Futures Roadshow: Community Expression of Interest |
The Energy Futures Lab (EFL) is seeking expressions of interest from community leaders in Alberta to have the Energy Futures Roadshow come to their community and support them in exploring the opportunities and challenges arising from energy transition.
We are committed to supporting communities in forging their own energy transition pathways. The EFL is a diverse network of 60+ innovators and organizations working collaboratively to take action in response to this question: How can we leverage Canada’s assets and innovation capacity to accelerate an inclusive and equitable transition to a prosperous net-zero future? We are reaching out to community leaders like you to join us in this effort.
WHAT IS THE ENERGY FUTURES ROADSHOW?
The Energy Futures Roadshow is a 4 workshop series that is designed and delivered in collaboration with each community, and is tailored to the community’s interests and capacities. A community could include a First Nation, Métis Settlement, municipality or Municipal District. The engagement will revolve around a series of workshops with participants from business, Indigenous communities, governments, schools, economic developers, community developers and others. We have successfully convened both in-person and virtual environments.
