Welcome to the East Coast Tasmania Tourism Community Conversation about tourism. This survey invites you as a person who is connected with the East Coast to share with us about how tourism can contribute to the local people and place.

This project is about building a future where tourism strengthens our region— not just by supporting businesses, but also by protecting what makes the East Coast special and creating real life benefits for residents and visitors.

Positive impact is about the contribution tourism makes to local people and place - economically, socially, culturally and environmentally. It is also about minimising negative impacts.

If you would like to know more about the project, visit our website and sign up to receive regular project updates or attend our community conversations in April and May. This survey closes on 23rd May 2025.

For those who have already contributed to the Bay of Fires Masterplan or Triabunna Tomorrow, we are working with the consultants to ensure the ideas and views from those projects are built in to this work as well. You are welcome to fill in just one survey for one area if that is your chief interest, however for a more overarching view please do continue with this survey. For more information on those projects, please see our website.
