Introduction
Durham County Council has commissioned an independent research project exploring 'the art of the possible' for the co-design of an innovative all-age Careers Framework. The research will make an important contribution to understanding what more can be done to personalise all-age careers support and improve accessibility.

The purpose of this call for evidence is to gather the views of key stakeholders, partner agencies and providers on their top priorities for innovative careers and employability support for young people and adults in County Durham over the next five years.

The submissions received by dmh associates will guide the focus on other research activities, such as telephone interviews and focus group sessions. This will also inform the conclusions and recommendations in the final report presented in September 2024.

For the purposes of this survey, the term 'careers guidance' includes services which help people of any age to manage their careers and to make the educational, training and occupational choices that are right for them. It helps people to reflect on their ambitions, interests, qualifications, skills and talents and to relate this to relevant opportunities.
