Each year, the MO Mac & Cheese Fest King & Queen add a touch of cheesy royalty to OACAC's signature fundraising event. For OACAC's 6th Annual MO Mac & Cheese Fest, we’re searching for two youngsters, ages 9-13 years, who would like to be our next King & Queen. This survey is for parents or guardians of children who are interested.
What do the King and Queen do? The King & Queen have a few different responsibilities. They may help with a promotional video or photos this fall; they march with us in the Springfield Christmas Parade on 12/13/25; and they will circulate during OACAC's MO Mac & Cheese Fest on 1/17/26, taking photos with the crowd and with all winners.
Do they need to be related? The King & Queen don't have to be related but they can be.
What are the perks? These roles are fun! In addition, they will receive free entry into the MO Mac & Cheese Fest along with a ticket for a guardian or friend. Plus - free mac & cheese and bragging rights that they were the cheesiest royalty!
Do they need to provide a costume? OACAC will provide the costume, we’ll just need size information.
How do they apply? Parents or legal guardians of interested youth can complete this survey by November 3. OACAC staff will follow-up the week of November 9.
When and where is the MO Mac & Cheese Fest? The MO Mac & Cheese Fest takes place between 11am - 2:30pm on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the University Plaza Convention Center in downtown Springfield, MO.
