The purpose of the award is to recognize Fellows who embody the qualities for which Dr. Precious was known and well-respected, such as outstanding leadership within the College and significant contributions to dental specialty practice and education. This accolade recognizes an individual who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and impact on within the dental community. That individual would be a Fellow of the College and display the characteristics that Dr. Precious embodied – be involved in education, humanitarian pursuits, and organized dentistry, as well as being involved in the larger community.
