* 9. The Kentucky Asthma Partnership (KAP) is a statewide coalition developed in 2007 and intends to be the collaborative driving force in improving asthma in Kentucky. The KAP became a 501c3 in 2018 with an engaged board of directors active in asthma management and policy development across the state. The KAP hosts the annual Kentucky Asthma Symposium and KAP Business meeting in May of each year, develops and provides professional educational and networking opportunities including development of the Kentucky Asthma Strategic Plan and supports policies which lead to better asthma management in the school, workplace, home and community. Participation in KAP is encouraged for all interested in addressing asthma in Kentucky. New members are welcome to join throughout the year.
