The District of Squamish is exploring approaches to support Squamish businesses, non-profit and community groups to:

  • temporarily access items/space (ex. equipment, vehicles, space, human resources, waste or other outputs, resources) through borrowing/co-ownership instead of having to own something outright
  • generate revenue or other benefits from sharing items, space or materials that are not being used or no longer needed.

This can also be called Asset Sharing in more technical terms.

The purpose of this survey is to:
1. Understand the items you would like to have access to
2. Understand the items you would consider sharing
3. Understand the value of sharing program characteristics to you

Participation is not mandatory and you can skip a question at any point in the survey. Responses will be used to identify ways the District could potentially support more sharing opportunities for businesses and organisations in Squamish.

If you want to join the conversation in-person, join one of the two workshops for businesses on March 26th or 31st (duplicate sessions). Details are at the end of the survey.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
