The 2025 Hot Air and Hot Water Forums are the nation’s premier policy and technical conferences devoted to heating energy market transformation. Since their founding in 2008 (Hot Water) and 2023 (Hot Air), the Forums have brought together seasoned experts and new voices to reduce the two biggest uses of energy in buildings.

The Forums are the place to exchange knowledge on efficiently producing, distributing, and using hot water and decarbonizing space heating in buildings of all kinds through heat pumps. Both conferences explore how these industries can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve grid resilience, and center equity.

Previous HWF/HAF gatherings have attracted diverse attendees, including equipment and component manufacturers; water, gas, and electric utility professionals; and local, state, and federal agency representatives. Energy efficiency program planners, operators, evaluators, electricians, plumbers, installers, policymakers, representatives from NGOs, engineers, consultants, and other experts have found value in the sessions and great networking at the events.

If your submission is accepted, you will be invited to present in a breakout session with presentations on similar topics. The submission deadline is October 25. Submissions are limited to two per author.

Presentation ideas can be submitted in up to two of the following tracks.
