Health officials in Oregon are investigating an outbreak of diarrhea and GI illness among people who ate at Si Casa Flores or any of their affiliated locations (Taquiera Mexico, Xpress Trailer, Si Casa Xpress) in Grants Pass.
We would like you to fill out this survey even if you did not become sick, so we can compare items eaten by both sick and well persons to identify items associated with illness.
The outbreak is caused by a bacterium, Salmonella. Most people infected develop abdominal cramps, watery diarrhea, fever, nausea, headache, and vomiting within 1-5 days, with the average 1-4 days. Most illnesses resolve on their own within 7 days.
If you became sick with abdominal cramps and diarrhea, vomiting, or fever after eating at a Si Casa Flores or any of their affiliated locations in Grants Pass since June 23rd 2020, please see your health care provider and mention this outbreak.
