SBMG Programming Survey April 2021

Dear Sangha Members,

SBMG Board and Scheduling Committees are seeking your input on how to move forward with our programming efforts in the second half of 2021.

Please take a few moments to fill out the attached survey so that we can get a better idea of how we have been serving you as a sangha, what you need and feel would be supportive to your practice, and how you can support our efforts to come back together as a sangha family.
1.We are currently in need of volunteers to support SBMG Scheduling and Communications Committees, and our Board.
  • Scheduling reaches out to teachers to check their availability and offer them opportunities to come speak.
  • Communications works with our Social Media Platforms, Web, and outreach.
  • The SBMG Board provides guidance/oversight to the program and fiscal decisions that keep the sangha going.
Are you willing and able to help serve in any of these areas?

2.SBMG is also in need of volunteers with technical skills in these areas:
  • supporting programming (Eventbrite, Facebook, Zoom)
  • drafting web page content
  • audio/visual support for upcoming gatherings
Would you be willing to serve to support the sangha (Dana), or are you willing to establish a monthly donation to help SBMG have paid positions in these areas?
3.Have you been attending SBMG online in the last 6 months?
4.If you have not been attending SBMG online, or attendance has decreased, please check all that apply:
5.What shift in programming would encourage or nourish you in your practice and help you feel more connected to your sangha family?  Please check all that apply.
6.Are you planning to return to the Dharma Center for Sunday Evening Programs when we re-open?
7.Would you like to participate in safe outdoor meetings at the Dharma Center on a weekly or monthly basis, and what dates/times would work for you?
8.How would the opportunity to participate in safe outdoor meetings at the Dharma Center affect your participation in SBMG programming?
9.If you are interested in participating in the outdoor meetings, are you able to help with  set-up and take down for the event?
10.If you planning to return to in-person Sunday Program, and in what area could you help to support this gathering?
11.We have been fortunate to have a full schedule of teachers for Sunday evenings and Daylong Programs/Workshops. Looking forward, what frequency would you participate in/support the following activities?
