“Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to compulsive overeaters and to practice these principles in all our affairs.” (Step 12)

Feeling welcome and included in Overeaters Anonymous (OA) is an important component of recovery. We are all united in the desire to stop eating compulsively (Tradition 3). The purpose of this survey is to capture individual experiences of feeling welcome or unwelcome, included or excluded within OA.

Your experiences and input matter, this is an opportunity to have your voice heard. There are no right or wrong answers. Please share only what you wish to, including any feedback on how we can improve this survey experience in the future. This survey was created by the OA Region 2 (R2) Diversity Committee and reviewed by the R2 Board.

Completion takes about 10-15 minutes.

Thank you for taking the time to do this service, we look forward to hearing what you have to say.

Notice: The research from this survey will be used to determine action across multiple R2 committees. We will use it to help ensure that OA is as open and welcoming as possible to everyone who has the desire to stop eating compulsively. The R2 Diversity Committee also intends to present summary results at the R2 Convention and on the R2 website. All SurveyMonkey settings have been set to protect your anonymity, including all answers and your email address.
