Overview

It has been 3 years since our beloved team member, Keith Kuo, passed away. He was a champion for ensuring that everyone had access to ASA's programs, regardless of financial situation. We want to honor his commitment to equity and inclusion at the On Aging Conference. To achieve this, we have created the Keith Kuo Memorial Scholarship Fund, which supports individuals in need of financial assistance for conference expenses.

The number of scholarships available will be determined by the amount of funding received from donations. Selected ASA members will receive a full or partial scholarship that may be used to cover the cost of registering for On Aging 2025 in Orlando, FL, April 21–24, 2025 and hotel. Please be aware that this scholarship does not include transportation expenses.

Requirements to Apply:
1. You must be an ASA Member when you apply. (If you are not presently a member of ASA, please note that you will be required to join ASA before we can process your award.)
2. Your application must be completed by Jan. 31, 2025.
3. You must be prepared to cover part of your registration and travel expenses.
4. You must require this support for it to be possible for you to attend On Aging 2025. (If an organization employs you, you must not be reimbursed for any expenses this scholarship covers.)
5. Applicants previously awarded a Conference Scholarship (or Travel Scholarship) are not eligible.
