Application for Court-Appointed Attorneys in Guardianship Proceedings (Md. Rule 10-106(b))

Complete this application if you received training in aspects of guardianship law and practice in conformance with the Maryland Guidelines for Court-Appointed Attorneys in Guardianship Proceedings (Maryland Guidelines) and wish to be added to a roster of attorneys eligible for appointment under Md. Rule 10-106(b). Click here for a list of trainings that meet the Maryland Guidelines requirements.

Attorneys with other relevant training or experience seeking waiver of the training requirement, should complete an Application Seeking Waiver of the Md. Rule 10-106(b)(1)(C) Training Requirement and file it and supporting documentation in each court they are willing to accept appointments.

Note: Appointments are made at the discretion of each court. Inclusion on the roster does not guarantee you will be appointed. Some courts will maintain their own list of attorneys eligible for appointment.
