The new Ontario Small Business Support Grant ($10,000 to $20,000) applications are now open, however, tourism has yet again been left behind. This is simply unacceptable as we too have been negatively impacted by the province-wide lockdown and the stay-at-home orders which continue to be in effect.

NOTO has reached out to several Government officials to push for tourism operators to be included in the eligibility for the grants. We've also highlighted the impacts you have felt as a result of the lockdown and associated emergency orders as well as the urgent need for support.

To help with our discussions with Government, we would like to know how many operators have lost winter revenues as a result of the lockdown, the total amount ($) of revenue lost based on lost bookings and estimated additional revenues that you are no longer able to generate, as well as the likelihood of replacing bookings with essential workers and/or those in need of housing during the emergency period.

This will help reinforce our request to add tourism operators to the eligibility criteria for the grant program as well as highlight the continued losses our industry faces and the need for additional support.

Please take 5 minutes to answer this survey. Your participation is greatly appreciated.
