Yass Valley Council is considering two locations within Murrumbateman to construct the new all-abilities playground:
Murrumbateman Recreation Ground: Located on the southern sand arena (by the tennis courts), this site offers access to the new public toilet block, existing car parking, large open space and internal pathways. The new playground would feature majority of the play equipment from the original adopted design concept.
10 Hercules Street, (Murrumbateman Community Playground): This existing playground is currently on land owned by the church but leased to the Council. It offers easy pedestrian access from the village and Fairley Estate, along with off-street car parking. The original adopted design concept would need to be modified to suit the site, featuring the most suitable play equipment for the space and new toilet facilities.
