Women's Leadership Academy Survey

In June of 2020, the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS) established a statewide Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce. The Taskforce was established with representation from each college and the Board Office and includes faculty, staff, and students, and is charged with developing meaningful, actionable, and measurable recommendations focused on diversity and inclusion for all. One of the early recommendations from the Taskforce is to establish the LCTCS Women’s Leadership Academy. This Academy would complement and build on the success of the Women’s Leadership Summit held during the Annual LCTCS Conference. Before establishing the academy, we want to hear from you. Below is a survey sent exclusively to all women employees within the LCTCS. We value your thoughts and ideas. Please take a few minutes to complete the short survey to help us build the LCTCS Women’s Leadership Academy.
.If established, would you be interested in participating in a year-long (10 months) leadership academy designed exclusively for women employees of the LCTCS?
.Please indicate what topics may be of interest to YOU.
.How frequently should the sessions be held?
.Which do you believe is the best delivery model?
.Should a session require travel within Louisiana, would you be willing to stay overnight?
.Would you be interested in participating in a mentorship program?
.Describe some leadership challenges that you have faced in your career.
.What goals do you have for participating in a Women’s Leadership Academy? These goals might be individual, related to your college or outside organization, for women in general, or some combination of these.
