The Academic Senate for California Community Colleges (ASCCC) Open Educational Resources Initiative (OERI) supports the development of openly licensed resources and strives to identify resources that would be of use to faculty in the California Community Colleges. In addition to providing professional development opportunities for faculty to learn about open educational resources (OER) in general and the available OER in their discipline or disciplines, the OERI regularly uses surveys to discover if there is interest in OER and what OER faculty are using to support teaching and learning.
You are receiving this survey as a faculty member who teaches courses in the American Sign Language (ASL) discipline.
We are interested in courses related to learning ASL and Deaf culture, as well as interpreting. In other words, courses in TOP Code 085000 (“Sign Language”; CIP Code 161601, “American Sign Language”) and TOP Code 085010 (“Sign Language Interpreting”; CIP Code 161603, “Sign Language Interpretation and Translation”).
