Tracy Davis, President, Acme Transportation CompanyProfessional Bio: Tracy Davis, 61, began his career as assistant promotions director - WMJI FM in Cleveland, OH. First transportation position - supervisor at United States Cargo & Courier Service, Cleveland, 1989. In Washington, D.C., for graduate school in 1991, Davis worked in government & public affairs at Amtrak, then managed media relations for Air Travel Card. Returning to Amtrak, he managed testing, demonstration and tours of Swedish X2000 and German InterCityExpress high-speed trains. In 1994, Davis became Product Line Director of New York-New Orleans train the Crescent. Moving to Chicago in 1998, he became Director-Service Support for Amtrak Mail and Express. In 2002, Davis was a founder and vice president of shortline company Iowa Pacific Holdings. Davis formed Acme Transportation, an intermodal trucking and warehousing company in Chicago, 2007. Davis has a B.S. - Ohio University in Athens, OH and an M.A. - University of Maryland, College Park, MD. Noreen Ellis, Vice President, National Strategic Engagement Lead, Advisory & Planning, WSP USAProfessional Bio: Noreen Ellis serves as Vice-President and National Strategic Engagement Lead for WSP Advisory and Planning Business, supporting public and private transportation organizations in developing effective strategic and tactical communications. She began her transportation career as manager of communications for Amtrak Intercity serving 46 states where she aligned project messaging and prepared communication tools including executive speeches, congressional testimony, newsletters, website, media kits and full-scale marketing and communication campaigns. With a focus on effective storytelling, Noreen is adept at building advocacy for transportation improvements and establishing coalitions across market sectors who work collaboratively to create innovative solutions to transportation challenges. In her role at WSP she leads community and industry engagement, working with a wide range of industry associations to build their presence, differentiate messages and establish strong organizational foundations to grow membership and influence. She championed the WSP TCC sponsorship and encourages colleagues to be active TCC Members. Bryan Meyers, Director of Logistics, GraingerProfessional Bio: I am a seasoned Logistics Director with over 20 of experience in optimizing supply chain operations through logistics operations. I have worked in the automotive industry, manufacturing, and wholesale distribution throughout my career. I have led global teams, with logistics operations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and China, and am passionate about the industry. My focus has been on international logistics, bulk and package rail shipping, as well as bulk and package trucking. I have lived and worked in Chicago most of my life, and am an active member of the Traffic Club of Chicago. Bryan Potesta, Transportation and Logistics Professional, Alliance ShippersProfessional Bio: Before diving into the logistics industry I was in college getting my degree and coaching lacrosse on the side. I graduated from Elmhurst University and immediately began my logistics career at Alliance Shippers, working in intermodal operations and inside sales. I gained the knowledge and skills needed to understand logistics operations, which I later applied when I moved into business development. Currently, I am a Transportation and Logistics Executive at Alliance Shippers, specializing in servicing customers' intermodal and over-the-road shipping needs. I enjoy meeting new people and finding solutions that help their supply chains operate more effectively. I love what I do! Nauman Bhatti, Relationship Manager, Bank of AmericaProfessional Bio: Nauman Bhatti started his career as a Summer Intern with Merrill Lynch and then full time the following year with the Futures & Options team. He then worked in Global Treasury Services helping with project mgmt. and financial planning while providing feedback to senior bank executives. Currently, Nauman is a Relationship Manager with Bank of America working with commercial clients in the Transportation Industry. He provides sector research and banking advisory services to help enterprises make better business decisions. Nauman graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago with a major in Finance and minor in Economics. Nauman has been a TCC Member since 2018. Vik Patel, Category Manager, Transportation Procurement, Kraft HeinzProfessional Bio: Vik currently leads rail procurement and inbound logistics projects at Kraft Heinz, driving efficiency and innovation. Prior to this, he led commercial teams at a SaaS-based freight forwarder, partnering with Fortune 500 companies to optimize their logistics strategies. Vik began his career in 2010 at C.H. Robinson, specializing in global trade compliance. With over 14 years of experience, he has held key roles at top 3PLs, focusing on operational excellence and logistics engineering. His extensive background enables him to deliver impactful solutions in complex transportation and supply chain environments. Tim Buckley, National Sales Manager, Echo Global LogisticsProfessional Bio: I have 11 years in the industry and manage a sales team of 20 senior reps. I started my career at Command Transportation, a Paul Loeb org, in carrier sales. I've since moved to a client facing position managing roughly 400+ clients across all modes. Daniel Price, Vice President - Terminal Development, SavageProfessional Bio: Dan Price is Savage’s Vice President of Terminal Development. Dan has over twenty-two years with Savage and has extensive experience in operations and development. Dan currently leads a team that is focused on growing and filling capacity in Savage’s 50 plus Transload facilities He is a past three-term President of the Transload Distribution Association of North America (TDANA). TDANA is a national organization that was formed over 25 years ago to foster development in the transloading industry. Dan is a graduate of Manchester University and resides in Schererville, Indiana. But when I landed my first job in supply chain management at Amazon, I quickly fell in love with trucking and business of making the economy move. After Amazon I held several roles at FedEx specifically working on network 2.0. Now I work with shippers as a broker at NTG to provide warehousing and transportation solutions. That being said, my true passion is connecting and learning with others. This is why I love the traffic club of Chicago.
