Training Phases

Pre-apprenticeship Training: 320 hours of immersive instruction in your chosen tech discipline, conducted virtually over 16 weeks. You'll enjoy a mix of live and self-guided learning with flexible scheduling, including two weekday evenings and Saturdays, enabling you to participate outside of regular working hours.

On-the-Job Training (OJT): 2,000 hours of practical experience applying your newly acquired skills in real-world settings. If you are currently employed, this phase can be integrated into your job role. If not, Cyber Proud will work closely with you and our network of supporting agencies to connect you with potential employers, ensuring you have access to hands-on experience that aligns with your career goals.

Continued Education Training: 144 hours of self-paced study aimed at earning industry-recognized certifications. This phase supports all participants, whether employed or seeking employment, helping you enhance your skill set and career prospects while working toward formal qualifications.


Fine Print: Completing this application does not guarantee enrollment in the program. The first step involves participating in two meetings: a Group Information Session followed by a one-on-one interview with our Talent Manager. Acceptance is also contingent upon meeting the required educational and experience qualifications, as well as residency requirements set by our grantor (the State of California, with preference for Sutter County residents). Additionally, you must pass a Wonderlic technical assessment and have access to a computer or laptop with Wi-Fi, along with foundational IT skills, to be eligible for enrollment.
