Edmonton Cultural Infrastructure Plan (ECIP) - Community Survey

Connections & Exchanges: A 10-Year Plan to Transform Arts and Heritage in Edmonton (2018) charged Arts Habitat, together with their partners and impacted stakeholders, to develop the City of Edmonton’s first Cultural Infrastructure Plan.

The Edmonton Cultural Infrastructure Plan will provide long-term guidance on the development, redevelopment, renovation, and establishment of spaces and places around Edmonton for engaging in arts, culture, and heritage activities, programs, and events.

This project aims to develop a plan that ensures:
Every Edmontonian can access, express, and participate in art, culture, and heritage throughout the city in spaces and places for healing, connection, enjoyment, and to explore meaning.

Arts Habitat is engaging with Edmontonians to inform the development of the Plan and recommendations for the City of Edmonton. This survey is one tool among several other streams of research and engagement that has already been conducted and others in progress, to identify what is important and what is missing in all areas of the city.

Thank you for agreeing to complete this short survey. We value your opinion and feedback, and it will help us better understand our communities and improve access to and participation in cultural infrastructure in Edmonton. The survey is intended for residents of the City of Edmonton or Edmonton Metropolitan Region and should take up to five minutes to complete. Responses will be gathered anonymously.
