Affordable Housing Survey - Colts Neck Township |
The Colts Neck Township Planning Board is embarking on its fourth round housing element and fair share plan, and wants to hear from you.
Please complete the following survey to share your thoughts and ideas about how Colts Neck should plan for affordable housing, including what strategies and locations are most appropriate.
In March 2024 the State passed an amendment to the New Jersey Fair Housing Act that set forth a new process for each municipality to meet its fourth round affordable housing obligation, as well as a June 30th deadline for submitting a housing element and fair share plan.
Please also attend the Open Public Information Meeting on January 14th at 7pm at the Conover Road Primary School to learn about the State’s affordable housing regulations. The meeting will start off with a presentation, and there will be opportunities to visit several stations around the room and offer input on a variety of questions. There will be significant overlap between the survey here and the Meeting, although the meeting will offer additional information and opportunities for input.
