Great Lakes Health Clinically Integrated Network Kickoff Event |
As the Great Lakes Health System of WNY continues to take steps to unify and improve quality and patient safety, enhance efficiency and reduce costs, it is essential that our institutions come together as part of a clinically integrated network.
After an extensive physician-led process, Kaleida Health, ECMC and UBMD have decided to move forward with Cerner as our technology partner in the clinically integrated network.
Over the past two years, Kaleida Health has made major investments in the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR), including updated and upgraded hardware and software. This investment will continue, with a major upgrade of the inpatient EMR in 2018, among many other projects. Using a single EMR system with a single patient record will lead to:
• Better work-life balance for providers and nurses
• Improved outcomes for the communities we serve
• A more seamless patient experience
To ensure the transition to Cerner is successful, we need your input.
As the end users, you know what we need to do to make sure this works well and what barriers we may come across that need to be addressed. Your feedback throughout this process will be invaluable, and we invite you to a kickoff event later this month to learn more and share your thoughts. Come explore Cerner's solutions across the continuum of care. Follow a patient journey through the ambulatory clinics, emergency department, and back into the home. Learn how to optimize Cerner solutions as a clinician or practice manager to better manage your patient population and generate revenue.
