The 2022 Champion Changemakers Weekend |
We need your support and involvement ... so sign-up now!
The Champion Changemakers weekend is a series of regional hackathon / 'Dragons Den' type events which will be hosted from September 23rd - 25th next around the country.
Using a team-based approach, the weekends will focus on developing solutions to community challenges across three key areas:
1. Environment and Climate Action
2. Economic Inequality
3. Human Wellbeing.
Shortlisted ideas from the weekend and the teams who will develop these ideas into potential solutions will have an opportunity to pitch for an award bursary at a national event on October 20th in Dublin.
Anybody interested in being part of the solution and making a difference in their communities or regions can sign up below to participate.
You don't need an idea to come along, just the passion to make a change and we will help you do the rest!
The Champion Changemakers weekend is approved by Government with support from the Dormant Accounts Fund. The funding allocated is part of the Dormant Accounts Action Plan 2021 and is administered by the Department of Rural and Community Development in conjunction with Pobal.
