Survey of Aussie attitudes to cash and other ways to pay |
Do you support a completely cashless Australia?
Over the last two years, some retailers have "gone cashless" and the number of bank branches and ATMs has declined sharply.
The government and Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) are reviewing Australia's payment system and considering the introduction of a digital currency for Australia.
This easy 5-minute (10 question) survey records the attitudes of Australians to cash and cashless payments in physical retail shops and supermarkets. The results will be reported to the government and the RBA.
These questions do not apply to online shopping, only physical retail locations.
