Hello Aurora & Newmarket residents,

Your local fire department – Central York Fire Services (CYFS) is looking for your feedback to help guide and improve our service to you.

We are conducting a Community Risk Assessment which will inform the creation of our 10-year Fire Master Plan.

A Fire Master Plan is a strategic document that will guide the Joint Council Committee (JCC), Aurora and Newmarket Town Councils in providing effective and efficient fire protection and emergency services to both communities.

The Fire Master Plan will be created by using the following methods of input:

  • Community Risk Assessment
  • Legislation
  • Industry best practices
  • Central York Fire Services personnel
  • Your feedback
You are invited to share your experience with the Central York Fire Services. Public surveys will be received until Tuesday, May 24 at 11:59 p.m. and will be considered in the development of the Fire Master Plan.
