The National Council on Aging’s (NCOA) Center for Benefits Access wants your input on an exciting new annual event that will launch next year.

Check Your Benefits Day (working title) will unite groups with a common mission—to help low-income older adults and adults with disabilities access critical benefits to improve their economic security and health—under one umbrella and drive more individuals to community and online tools that can help them learn about, screen, and apply for money-saving programs. Aging & disability groups would be encouraged—and provided tools from NCOA—to host a range of outreach and enrollment activities corresponding to the Day, as suits their communities. The initial Day is expected to occur in April 2020.

As we begin to shape this effort, we would like to know more about your interest in participating or hosting activities in your community as part of this campaign.
