The Surgery site in Bell Lane Minchinhampton is up for sale and Minchinhampton Parish Council is interested in buying it for the benefit of the community. It is becoming available as the surgery moves to its new home on Cirencester Road.
The Council would aim to meet the needs of residents by transforming an out-dated building in the centre of the town into a vibrant hub for community engagement and local governance thereby generating social, economic, and environmental benefits for the parish in accordance with its Neighbourhood Development Plan.
We cannot do this without your support and enthusiasm. Should this project go ahead residents will be consulted at every key stage in the redevelopment of the site.
To enable the purchase of the Surgery site and fund the associated loan repayments, the Parish Council would need to increase its precept in future years by approximately 50p per week for Band D householders.
