There are 869 Core Plus Maritime students taking hands-on shop class for 1-3 hours per day at their high schools. These students have an interest in boats -- building boats, operating boats, fixing boats. More schools are adopting Core Plus every year. Find your classroom, build your pipeline!

Hiring graduates and/or interns

Sponsorship or Financial Contribution; provide funding to the staff who manages curriculum development, certificate use, teacher training, school recruitment, classroom onboarding, teacher support, industry & educator outreach.

Teacher Training; provide an industry expert to host a workshop for 10+ instructors, coordinate training with Tory Gering at least 1 month before training date.

Classroom visits; 4-6 hours at school with students hosting career readiness workshops (mock interviews, resume building)

Grant Reviewer; ~4 hours reviewing and evaluating Core Plus Maritime funding applications from school districts.

Community Engagement & Advocacy; bring Core Plus Maritime to my community OR strengthen the program already here with industry recruitment.
