Master Transportation Plan Survey: June 2018 |
Introduction
The City of Courtenay is developing Connecting Courtenay, a Master Transportation Plan that will provide direction on transportation infrastructure for the next 20 years. In March of 2018, we consulted the public about issues, challenges, and ‘big ideas’ the City of Courtenay should consider as part of the long-term transportation network. Based on community input and extensive technical analysis completed over the past three months, strong themes are emerging regarding the recommended focus for each transportation mode.
The result is a set of proposed Bold Moves for each mode of transportation—these are long-term plans that will guide the City’s planning and investment in transportation. The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback about these possible Bold Moves, while also gathering input that will influence the Master Transportation Plan and the development of the five- and 10-year investment strategies. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
