SPS Athletic Interest Survey for Next Year |
Seminole Public Schools offers a sample survey, which may be used in the assessment of students’
sports interest. These surveys are provided as samples only. They are tailored to fit the needs of our
school district. It is important to remember that survey results are to be used for athletic program
planning and development as well as in assessing current program comparability. Certain administrative
precautions will promote the collection of meaningful student sports interest. Seminole Schools will
survey students of both sexes, using one survey that lists the same sports options for boys and for girls.
The survey is available for those students who are now or who will be eligible next year to participate in
sports. Only the responses of the students who want to be participants in sports programs are to be
considered in the application of survey results to athletic program design. Based upon tabulated results
of the survey Seminole Schools will offer the number and kinds of sports, as well as the range of
competitive levels within those sports, that will equally accommodate the assessed interests of male
students and female students.
