CTE Leadership Self-Efficacy (CLSE) Scale Question Title * 1. INFORMED CONSENT STATEMENTIdentification of Researchers: This research is being conducted by faculty, Dr. Michelle Conrad & Dr. Larae Watkins, University of Central Missouri, Dr. Kemaly Parr, Murray State University, Dr. David Yost, Marshall University, and Dr. Howard Gordon, University of Nevada – Las Vegas. Purpose of the Study: The purpose of this study is to validate a CTE Leadership Self-Efficacy Scale. Request for Participation: As a participant, you are being asked to complete an online survey to determine your current self-efficacy in CTE leadership skills.Consistent with federal guidelines on research involving human subjects, the following are guaranteed:1. Study participants must be over the age of 18.2. Participation in this study is voluntary.3. There is no penalty for declining to participate.4. Participants have the right to withdraw at anytime without penalty.5. Participant anonymity will be maintained to the degree permitted by the technology used. No guarantees can be made regarding the interception of data sent via the Internet by any third parties.6. There are no risks of injury, illness, emotional distress, or loss of privacy.Description of Research Method: Participants are asked to complete an online survey indicating the extent of confidence in CTE leadership skills. The survey will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete.Explanation of Benefits: The potential indirect benefit of this research is to provide a valid scale specific to leadership in career technical education.
