Charity Leadership Summit 2022 - Call for Speakers |
1.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a proposal for the Charity Leadership Summit being held on the 15th of September 2022 in Dublin, our first major in-person event for three years.
This year's event is taking submissions for speakers to present on leadership, fundraising, mindfulness, and the power of purpose.
The overall theme for the Charity Leadership Summit is ‘Leading with Purpose"
Over the past decade, there’s been a surge of interest in purpose-driven leadership. Academics argue persuasively that an executive’s most important role is to be a steward of the organisation’s purpose. Experts make the case that purpose is a key to exceptional performance and describe it as the pathway to greater well-being.
Having purpose is the key to navigating the complex, volatile, ambiguous world we face today, where strategy is ever changing and few decisions are obviously right or wrong. However, a big challenge remains as only a small percentage of leaders have a strong sense of their own individual purpose. They may be able to clearly articulate their organization’s mission but when asked to describe their own purpose, they typically fall back on something generic and vague. Just as problematic they do not have a clear plan for translating purpose into action. As a result, they limit their aspirations and often fail to achieve their most ambitious professional and personal goals.
This year's Charity Leadership Summit: Leading with Purpose is looking to change that—to help charity leaders find and define their leadership purpose and put it to use. Our event will cover a wide range of topics related to authentic leadership, accelerating growth, and deepening your impact.
From the most innovative trends in fundraising to big think transformational discussions CLS2022 is not to be missed! This event is for anyone working in the Not for Profit sector who wants to be a truly effective leader, clarify their purpose, and make a significant impact for their organisation.
We require all speakers to work the theme into their session content. The Cii Executive team will work with speakers whose proposals are accepted to craft powerful and intriguing session descriptions that shed light on the session topic in relation to the theme.
The deadline to submit your proposal is Friday the 3rd June 2022. Once an online submission is made, it is passed to the Cii Executive Team for consideration. You will be notified of the team's decision no later than Friday 17th June 2022. We look forward to receiving your submission.
