Thank you for agreeing to participate in our survey! We are the Manchester Hub of the Global Shapers Community. Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of inspiring young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional, and global challenges.
We are using the results of this survey to design a climate action project that addresses the climate crisis and makes local people’s lives better.
We are going to ask a series of questions on climate change, your community, and climate action. Survey responses will be used for three purposes:
- To create a report based on its findings
- To design a project that tackles climate change in Greater Manchester, based on what people in Greater Manchester want
- To show other groups, cities or organisations how to run a city that empowers citizens to share what climate action they want taken.
There are no right or wrong answers, as we want to know your opinion! Everything in this survey will be kept anonymous, so you are free to express yourself.
At the end of the survey, you can choose to sign up to a mailing list to receive updates on the report, and the launch event we are hoping to run when the report is ready. This list is not connected to the survey, so no one will ever be able to connect your responses to your name.
