Introduction
The Town of Mahone Bay Strategic Plan 2021-2025 and the draft of the Municipal Planning Strategy, currently under development, have goals and procedures to encourage the growth and diversity of our community. The Key Measurable Results of these goals include growth in the number of places to live and the number of affordable places to live.
The Housing Accelerator Fund, from the Government of Canada and Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), is a $4 billion fund to provide municipalities funding to help increase the number of places to live in their communities. To apply for this money, the Town of Mahone Bay is developing an Action Plan.
The purpose of this survey is to get public feedback on the proposed Housing Accelerator Fund application. This survey is open to residents, full-time and part-time, of the Town of Mahone Bay.
