Please read the information below before submitting your application
As part of the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia’s (WMRR) commitment to developing and growing our essential sector, we are delighted to be running our Young Professionals (YPs) Scholarship Program in 2024.
This program provides an opportunity for waste and resource recovery (WARR) YPs to be funded by WMRR to attend and present at one of WMRR’s national conferences. Two (2) scholarships will be offered this year, aligned to the two (2) national conferences delivered by WMRR in 2024 – the ENVIRO Conference in June (Brisbane) and the inaugural Australian Resource Recovery Conference in October (Adelaide). This application form relates to the Australian Resource Recovery Conference, which will be held from 16-17 October at the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC) in Adelaide, South Australia.
The value of each scholarship is up to a total of $2,500 and will cover expenses related to conference travel, accommodation, and registration.
Applicants must be a financial member of WMRR, meet all eligibility criteria, and submit a conference abstract as part of this application. The scholarship program’s terms and conditions document, which includes eligibility criteria can be found here.
