Cold-Formed Steel Framing Standards Development

As of July 2, 2024, the Steel Framing Industry Association (SFIA) became an accredited ANSI Standards Development Organization (SDO) and will be responsible for the development of a portion of the standards related to the cold-formed steel industry that were previously maintained by AISI.
The SFIA Standards Committee is seeking an expression of interest from those individuals who wish to participate in the code development process. The following standards will be maintained by SFIA: S202, S220, S230, S240, S250, S400, S909, S910, S911, S913, S914, S915, S916, S917, S918, S919, S920, S921.
If you have interest in any of the other CFS standards you should contact the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) (S100, S902, S904, S905, S923, S924), Steel Deck Institute (SDI) (S310, S400 Sections F1.4.1.2 and F3, S907, S922), Metal Building Manufacturers' Association (MBMA) (S100 Section I6, S901, S906, S908, S912), or Metal Handling Industry/Rack Manufacturers Institute (MHI/RMI) (S902).
